Blockchain Seminar in May 2017 – english

2. Mai @ 8:00 - 17:00

In May 2017 the „Blockchain Seminar“ will conducted in english language. The course is based on the book „Blockchain Technology“ by Dr. Daniel Burgwinkel (Co-lead of the course). Dr. Bruno Wildhaber will talk about legal requirements and trust issues in the context of Blockchains.

In the seminar “Digital Business Models with Blockchain Technology” we will be discussing the functional principles, the fundamentals, and the application of blockchains for business transactions, and for proof of data integrity in regulated sectors (e.g. eHealth and pharma). First we will convey the concept of blockchain technology and achieve a deeper understanding using practice examples and a software simulation. In the second part, go on to explain and discuss specific use cases of blockchains. This includes, in particular, Ethereum, Hyperledger, Guardtime and the blockchain-as-a-service platforms of Microsoft and IBM.
