They understand all disciplinary requirements for reliable and usable information enabling the business/LOB to have permanent access to required information in order to make optimized business decisions, anytime and anywhere. Role of the information responsible
Does someone exist within your organization who is responsible and accountable for managing information and documents? Is he capable to act pervasively for all information management needs not limited to archiving for instance? Is business information treated as a strategic factor and valuable corporate asset? If yes, a defined role has to be appointed to take care of those assets. We are helping and supporting by the design of the right organizational setup incl. the delegation of appropriate program roles.
Records managers - are managing "records"?
Records management has not really been well established in Europe as a defined discipline and profession. In the era of social media and ubiquitous and mobile computing one has to dismiss the paradigm that everything is a "record". In the future we will not ask if any kind of relevant information will be qualified and declared as a “record” or not. Instead we should ask: how long do we need all relevant information, why do we need it, how and how much do we use it, and what is permitted while we keep or preserve it.
The information responsible as white knight
Controlling your data flows will cost millions for most of the companies. We support you when identifiying the right value propositions of IG for your organization.
